Now, I’m all for forums as a place to exchange information, and debate differentiating points of views, but there is far too many people out there who cant seem to grasp the idea of only talking when they have something to actually build up on the topic. I've posted of a few forums, and I've had this happen to me a fair few times in reply to what I've said. The best example is from last year sometime. Having just heard JJJ announce the dates TOOL would be playing, I thought it would be nice if I posted the information to anyone who cared on MGF (Melb Goth Forum) A few people found this helpful, the usual replies of "how much?", "who's supporting?" etc came, but one persons comment really stood above the rest. Her comment was "eugh". Eugh... Its bad enough to encounter this sort of person, on overhearing a conversations has to announce their 'disapproval' by making stupid noises, but to actually post online a sound? What a fucking moron? WOW, now everyone knows how UBER she is because she has a shown that she doesn’t like the music, probably because its considered 'mainstream'. What I love most is the fact that with the simple word "Eugh" she was able to enlighten everybody to the exact reasons why she doesn’t enjoy their particular brand of music. Usually, I make use of actual words to describe how I either dislike the messages in the music, or the sound of a singer/band, but she accomplished it all with a single noise of disgruntlement. Goddam i hate people.
